I chatted w Tom via email and his comments were "I was told that we are waiting for patent paperwork to go through before we can sell."

So there you have it... Some ip protection before they send these out the door. I am waiting for this as well.

Hopefully it's patent filing to be completed vs patent granted, cause I'm still waiting for patents filed over four years ago.

It is called the "Dynamic Suspension Control" module and it simply plugs in and replaces your factory module. What it does is turn the suspension into an active suspension. I am NOT a mechanic and therefore will stop trying to explain it, but I will say it has turned my car into a completely different car that handles better than I ever could have imagined. I had the pleasure of doing a ride along in my own car at VIR raceway and Mike was almost flat out thru the climbing esses with the unit plugged in. Same part of the track with the factory unit installed- 40-50 mph SLOWER! This is without a doubt going to revolutionize the industry! I am lucky enough to have one of the Beta units, but I would call him and ask when he plans on releasing the final unit, then get in line!!!

What is the latest on this product? Anyone have anymore info on it?

Or, "Good things come to those who wait."

If Tom says they are waiting for a patent then they probably are. Tom is a great guy.

Fair enough but if this is the greatest thing since sliced bread dont u think it would behoove him to post the patent issue himself instead of via a 3rd party/customer?

He needs my business not vice versa. He needs to be forthcoming with updates imho. How many posts in this thread have asked for an update lol.

I don't think they want you to know yet until it's closer to the actual release date. A forum member just got a little too excited.

I would guess the secrecy is about not making the technology generally available to the public so that some other programmer can tear it apart and replicate it before they have their patent protection.

I talked to Tom a couple of days ago, and they are, indeed, still waiting for the patent. Give him a call at TPC if you're curious. He can give you the scoop.

I've tracked VIR and the climbing SSS's if handled correctly are almost WOT, at least they were in my CLK Black Series. What if any improvement did you notice at Oak Tree and the switchbacks at the end of the straight?
