Last night when about to leave my driveway, I started the car up and suddenly every single dash cluster light went on and a series of errors and fault messages displayed. I quickly turned the car off, waited five minutes and retried. This time only the CEL came on. Everything seemed fine otherwise. My wife and I went to dinner, got back in, CEL back on.
I contacted my local indy shop who was scheduled to take a look at it today (i dislike stealerships). After another venue stop in the evening, we got back in and the CEL gone. This morning, CEL gone.

I am curious if anyone has experienced this at all. Based on the search of the forum, I am concerned about the dreaded 10k fix of cams, etc. There is / was no hesitation in the 3-4k rpm range, or any of the other symptoms others experienced per reading.

Any input is greatly appreciated. I drive this car a lot, and now have 38k on it. Purchased from Porsche of Beachwood. Its now out of warranty, although I am considering buying one now after reading more on the forum.

My old car would occasionally do that once in a blue moon. Get a hand held code reader from sears, you can read and clear the code yourself in seconds.
