Zero911 Mod Pictures Thread
Creating a thread to share visuals of mods on my car. There's nothing in here most of you haven't seen before. But thought it might be fun to share some eye candy.
Base car is a 2010 911 Turbo. Picked up the car a couple months ago with very low miles. Factory plus CPO warranty good through mid 2016.
Car will be driven on the street primarily with minimal track use (I don't have time) so I will be doing mild modifications only.
All vendors mentioned below are board vendors.
The Plan:
Software: EVOMS stage 2; installed by Sharkwerks
Suspension: Bilstein PSS10 Damptronic; installed by Sonic Motorsports
Exhaust: Akrapovic Titanium Slip-On with factory cats; installed by Sonic Motorsports
Body: paint the factory side skirts, front lip, rear valence; painted by Sonic Motorsports
Wheels: HRE P47SC, Arkym J12, ADV 05SL, not sure yet
Interior: Red Front Seat Belts
Remaining Work:
Wheels: HRE P47SC, Arkym J12, ADV 05SL, not sure yet
Interior: new steering wheel
Will add pictures over time.

Akrapovic arrives.
Bilstein installed.
Tarrett front drop link.. these were going on but the set we got shipped was mismatched. One side was correct but the other side was either not manufactured correctly or picked incorrectly during packaging as it did not fit (threads were wrong). So these are going back for now ... will have to install later. The Bilsteins came with the updated link design so they should hold up until this is resolved.
Visited Sharkwerks today for EVOMS tune flash. Awesome service from Alex and Dan! Thanks!
It's a tune.. so no eye candy here.. but here's the ECU.
Got my lower trim painted to match the body color. Also painted the exhaust tips gloss black.

I agree, stock 997.2 TT tips would have looked great

Thanks. Yeah, I had issues with the tips as well but for some reason they started growing on me.. might have begun after staring at various quad tip setups. I am still considering having the chrome ring and inside pipe painted gloss black to tone it down a bit. I was about to pull the trigger but hesitated and then we ran out of time on Saturday.

They look like a pair of exotic eyes, at least in the picture. I like it and wouldn't paint anything--would take away from the designed look and brand imho.

I did not replace the sways yet. Going a little at a time. I am considering it though.
Yeah, it seems like people have pretty extreme feelings one way or another on the tips. Good thing is that it's easily changeable and there are people willing to pay just to get the tips. I'll keep it on for now and decide in the future what I want to do. Appreciate your feedback. Love your car BTW! Saw your thread
