APR 997TT vs 2013 GTR

Wow impressive. I heard some of the guys on the forum were running similar mods as you and broke into the high 5's. I think the only difference was injectors and fender well intakes. What clutch did you go with? How much boost are you running? Thanks

Peak boost would be the same, might hold out longer is all. I think 65mm vtg but not 100%, will talk to Todd about that choice. And turbo s does 8.2 stock according to the official 60-130 thread

With the stock rev limiter, you can't hit 130mph in 4th. I'm guessing Protomotive tune raises the rev limiter to at least 7k so you can hit 130 in 4th now.
With my APR tune, I did 3-4-5 vs. 4-5 and got 7.9 with 4-5 vs. 8.x 3-4-5. That's with regular shifting, not power shifting. On 100-200kph tests, I got 6.3 with zero shift vs. 6.6 with 3-4. I think if I can do 60-130 all in 4th, the car should be able to do a 7.6.

Very cool. I think from what I've seen, apr race map has same boost/timing numbers as my e85 map or really close. I'm sure the 7.6 could be lower e.g. the road we use is actually an uphill grade and my buddy was in the car and he's prob 270lbs of extra dead weight. Plus just looked over my logs, injectors are way maxed out up top, like 134%!!! Clearly I need to not push it that hard without bigger injectors to handle the fuel flow.

So some updates:
Buddy's GT-R went onto e85 and added 50whp/100wtq (607whp/660wtq). He ran it on a track for the first time and got a 10.8 at 133. No 60-130 yet but I'm sure its somewhere in the mid 6 second range.
So I'm (secretly) adding some goodies to my car then going to run w/ him again.
Going on this week:
1) BBI Coil + plugs
2) Protomotive 80# injectors
3) Protomotive 67mm VTGs
4) Front sway bar to resolve some oversteer issues I've had on track
Todd's new 67mm billet turbos + e85 should propel me into a low 6 or high 5 second 60-130 to surprise my buddy :-)
Then that's it for the car power wise as I want to keep the engine stock. So this will be my final round of mods before I just drive it and enjoy having 700+ whp :-)

Looking forward to the results! Maybe consider adding these http://www.sharkwerks.com/products.php?pid=394 while your engine is out since your going to be running 700whp now. Im surprised he only ran a 10.8 with that much power. Stock 2013 GTR usually run around that. Must be a slow drag strip.
