The S5 is SOO nice to drive. It is APR tuned and has H&R suspension goodiesas well.

It is a E46 M3 with SMG. It has been stripped to 2900lbs, aero, 275 Conti clicks, data system w/ video, proper seats, cage, harnesses, ect. The best mod, a Cool-Shirt system! No more heat stroke at the track!!!

In outright performance, true. The S5 is a better DD then anything I've had in a while. It is so nice, tight, with plenty of V8 rumble and the magma red napa leather is beautiful! The track M3 will tear up the track and it doesn't bother me if I get a scratch, chip, ect compared to the Turbo.

I just didn't drive the Turbo enough and it was unfair to just sit in the garage unless I was at the track. Soo, I was always driving my 2010 Dodge 3500 Crewcab dually as my DD. . . LOL. With a car and horse trailer, I have to keep the truck.

Cool. I've never done a track day or considered a track car. I'm waiting for a buddy of mine to finish retina fellowship, then we'll both do the track thing

I've been doing DEs since 1994 and instructing since 1998. Going to a full track duty car is nice because a lot of the worry about nicks, scratches, chips, damage, ect out of the equation. The turbo was an AWESOME DE car and I surprised a lot of vettes, GT3s but, I was a madman getting the hot rubber off of it, keeping it clean, maintenance, ect and it had to have the best clear bra on it and I the tires for it (the ones I ran at least) we're 1600/set. Now with the M3 track car, the cost is less then 1/2 and there are no worries because if it gets a chip, scratch, act who cares . . . LOL. It is a track *****!!!

I do miss it and I will get another P-car down the road for sure. I've had 3 over the years so I don't go long without one!
