Still the MPH says a lot. The ttS was just plain slower. I actually didnt see that coming....

 

P car driver needs to practice more on launching and use of the light if you leave on the 3rd green you slept at the wheel. With a good launch that will be a closer race.

 

The MP4 is nearly a second faster in 0-200 km/h.

 

1/4 mile times can vary greatly based on driver...especially if a driver is un able to get a good launch. The fact that in all 3 runs the Turbo S was almost 10 mph slower means a great deal. From a roll on the hyway than McLaren would straight walk away.

 

McLaren CLEARLY the faster car with a 7mph higher trap speed. I drove one at the Vegas Exotics. Insanely fast car that ate up the staights and just took corners like a champ!

 

The Porsche driver needs help. He felt asleep.

I thought the TTS traps closer to 130?

 

Both are 3.8L TT but the MP4 is almost 500 lbs lighter with amazing launch control and suspension. It takes the Turbo S in the straight and spanked the GT3 on the track as well.

 

2 things,
1. It wasnt the launch, it was reaction time. they both pulled 1.6 60' which is pretty good.

2. The Mclaren is just plain faster. 134mph trap is fast.

 

well $500k vs $160k.... there is a reason and i hope it's not the color...

 

Well, slightly used TTS for $160k - that is correct.
MP4 does NOT cost $500k, it is $300k, I've seen slightly used (3000km) for $255k.
