PCCB brake pads Vs Steel brake pads...

I would like some comments and opinions regarding stiffness of pccb brake pads Vs steel brake pads...Which one has harder compounts?I ve tried pccb pads at steel disks and they are better at hard use...plus they last longer but they eat the disk sooner...what if somebody has pccb disks and for daily driving wants something softer that wont produce any noise...are steel brake pads compatible with pccb disks for daily use?anyone tried it?
