Thx...love the pic
Cool! Looking forward to your feedback on alignment specs. I just pulled the trigger on the GMG springs, sways and Tarret drop links and my install date is in a couple weeks. I'm going to further research, but I'm thinking something along the lines of -1.7 front camber, -1.2 rear camber and 0 toe. DD with some Autox and DEs, but I don't want the inside tire edges to wear too unevenly. Anyone else with recommendations?
Big thanks goes out to Robert Boreham at Evolution MotorSports in Tempe! I picked up the car tonight and he went over everything he did in detail. All-in-all this is what was accomplished: Tarett rear drop links, RSS rear toe/steer kit, GMG sway bars and springs, and EVOMS SSK.
The ride is more planted, firm, predictable, sharp, fun, flat, and feels absolutely GREAT to drive!
While not the same as my past GT2 it is a far cry from the stock turbo. I've included pictures of the alignment machine EVOMS uses (same as the one in the Porsche factory) and before and after as well as some of the goodies making the rear suspension better.
before (outside EVOMS awaiting surgery)

After (in my garage...those are baby pics of my daughter...now 22)

Up on the alignment machine

Some suspension pieces

I'm very happy I went this route. The suspension didn't make a single noise going home, in fact, going over some cobblestone work where I live the car was quieter than before all the parts were changed.
I want to thank again Robert and Evolution MotorSports! This is my forth Porsche and this company has always taken great care of myself and my friends (and this is the only place they go!). Some pictures of the alignment specs.

The car is just so much more enjoyable to drive! It feel flatter on the straight and in corners. It does not sway. I feel the suspension noise is less. The rear is better planter and the steering is more precise. It is a great change from stock and not much money went into getting it there.
I've switched back and forth between stock and Tarett drop links many times. My impression on the rear Tarett drop link http://www.tarett.com/items/boxster~...lnk-detail.htm, hope this helps:
NVH: when you go over bump, stock drop link makes a thud sound, Tarett drop link makes more like a crack-thud sound. It makes suspension feel stiffer, but not too much so, and still very much tolerable for daily driver.
Stiffness: Tarett drop link does increase the effective stiffness of the sway bar. It is the equivalent of going from the middle setting of the sway bar setting, to a spot in between middle and hard.
Stabilization of the rear: IMHO the easiest way to describe and test the effect is as followed, not that that's how I recommend anyone to drive :-) ). As you exit a corner (exit not entry), if you stomp on the gas pedal, with stock drop link, the rear will tend to jump sideways, feel a little mushy, and do a mambo laterally and vertically. With Tarett drop link, it is gone, like magic.
I buy those ramps from Pep Boys to lift the car up by driving on to the 2 ramps, and don't use the jack; I don't work on cars much at all and really afraid of car dropping on me during change
. Bob/bbywu's DIY thread is helpful as usual - the screw of the drop link tends to rotate as you try to unwind the nut so you have keep the screw from rotating with a torx wrench.

Cann, thanks for that awesome pic of the suspension.

Rear camber set at -2 right?
Did Evoms tell you what the max value that could be set for rear camber with stock links? Was -2 to the max possible?
Bogg ur welcome.
I'm told with my stock parts > -3 is achievable, hope that helps
^^^ Yes it did help, thanks.
I didn't know what rear camber limit was for stock car, and didn't expect it to be that high (-3).
I remain convinced that the heart and soul of a Porsche is handling feel and therefore suspension mod is the number priority in our Turbo, to get rid of the body lean and overall "mushiness." For those on the fence, don't hesitate, JUMP. It is guaranteed to be a transformation and there are plentiful data on this forum that the solution is simple and proven.
