997 turbo Car feels unstable!!
No not all the time even when I'm on full boost sometimes it's perfect, maybe some loose Bushing or a broken engine mount I don't know maybe something moving and then going back into place!
it sounds like something is loose then, if its not happening all the time i doubt its the balancing or alligenment, it is most likely the suspension... its weird that it doesnt happen all the time...please keep me posted i would be interested to know what it is..
My car is bone stock lol, if it's LSD then in pretty sure ill hear something, but there is simply nothin just stupid sloppy left and right then take off my foot and go again then it stables slowly while in gaining up more speed!
For sure I will be taking it in next week and ill keep u guys updated! I just hope it's nothin major cuz I do launch it alot of times from zero! And at the drag strip due to the track bite i had lots of wheel hop, so just worried its not a major issue!
I'm having the same issues sometimes as well...I almost thought I was inadvertently steering left and right...happens at full boost in 3rd gear mostly. Any idea what this was attributed to? Would an LSD be covered under CPO warranty?
When I first bought my car it had these ADV 20's on it. I thought I made a mistake buying the car and didn't understand why people thought they were such great cars. It would handle like crap, dart around on the highway, and just didn't feel safe to drive. When I bought the car the ADV's weren't part of the deal, but my friends let me use them until I found stock wheels for it. After I put the stock wheels on it with some decent tires the car was 100000 times better to drive, not as darty on the highway under acceleration, turned so much better. If it was me I would look at wheels tire set up, alignment, and the diff. Good luck figuring out, it can be very bothersome having a car like ours with issues that make them not enjoyable to drive for the price we pay for them.
Mine is stock except for an exhaust with matching tires with decent tread left (was just CPO 3 months ago). I'm not even sure I can replicate it but if it persists I'll have to figure something out and hopefully would not be an out of pocket expense.
Now that this thread has been resurrected, did Najis997 ever report back as he said he would?
hey sorry i didnt report back, well what i did is changed my tyres and fixed my camber which was too much. and car is running perfectly fine now!
