Guys tell me more about this AA wheel protectant. I have a black matte/satin finish on the center spokes of my aftermarket wheels, so it doesn't have the shiny clear coat you get on polished wheels. How does the AA protectant finish look on a matte/satin finish? I don't want it to end up all shiny

Is there anything that is a spray on cleaner that can just rinse off without using any sponges?

So many good things about PCCB's (weight/bite and ofcourse the dust) yet people talk **** about them and don't give them any credit until it's too late.

I paid more for my car than what others would have paid but then again I do have Ceramics and the sport adaptives, both a must have in a used 997 TT

The other day, i drove almost 500 miles and the car had negligible brake dust..

Quick, I don't think anyone was talking sheeeeeeeet about pccb's on this thread. I think they're great, but many folks don't want to pay the premium for them, myself included. And what do you mean about "until it's too late"? Too late for what?

I didn't mention any names either... All I meant was, any time some one makes a post about PCCB's, the general response usually is, not worth the price which is not true.

Too late to Retrofit the ceramics which is never a cheap option?

When I bought my 997, I thought the black dust covering my back bumper after a short drive was brake dust. For me it turned out to be tire dust. I had Pirellis and switched to Michelins and its now 1/10 the problem. So if the dust is on your back bumpers it could be from the tires. I hope that's the case for some of you guys too; you have to replace the tires pretty often and it's a heck of a lot less expensive than PCCB's!

it puts a near invisible / clear barrier on the wheels if applied properly.. its very easy to apply btw.

Some have stated that it puts a slight haze on shiny areas.. but i haven't noticed anything significant. I have HRE charcoal wheels with chromed lips.. and i am fine with the way it looks after applying the Wheel Protectant.. especially since i dont have to deal with dirty front wheels anymore. I apply the AA about once a month.

check out the video.

u can also find other videos on youtube.

It's a spray, it gets on the tires but it doesn't matter, i just left it, then wiped on my normal tire dressing, everything looked good

I used Akebono pads on my E55 and they kept dust to a minimum.

I have the PCCB and they are awesome and do not dust. Worth the price of admission. My older BMW is a PITA. Light around town driving and the wheels were coated. My buddy with a C4S took a cruse out to the beaches with me and when we got back his wheels were covered. We applied opticoat to the wheels and they are super easy to clean but still show the dust.

If you go PCCB's it will solve the issue 100%.
