Sorry steve, but there are plenty of people who aren't as impressed with your dear friend as you are.

I am not the only one.

Jeff,

My experience at rpm taught me that partnerships DO NOT WORK. How ever I do realize how people could be unimpressed with me when I will not go into my pocket to build your car. I will not attack you or even comment about you. Strange how you know how to get a hold of me and revert to stooping to this level to attack me after how many years? I hope all is well with you.

Tim

Plenty people?

Tim and I built my car my from scratch and there is yet a single 996 OR 997 from Long Island to beat my posted 1/4 mile time. I did not know Tim from RPM, but I know him very well now. He is my friend and he is a superb mechanic who's skill level and knowledge of this platform is unmatched. His projects and continuous information contributions to the forum speak for themselves.

As far as I know he is very busy with his job and projects so you would be out of luck anyway even if you decided to let your poor GIAC flash grudge go.

Hit up Bobby Singh.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Taso and his crew over at TKX. Their customer service and product knowledge is definitely up there and would highly recommend them.

I have also just recently heard good things about Manhattan Motorgroup as well.

Best of luck.

Guys, I do not know Tim or the other players mentioned in this post. What I do know is that I come here to ask for experiences from members. This is not a popularity contest, it is about facts based on personal experience. Lets say customer A has a good expericne and cusomter B has a bad one with the same mechanic. It is totally possible for that to happen and I want to hear both. For customer A to tell Customer B you are wrong is laugable.

Calling people out for reporting negative experince is bad for all of us who look to this forum for expertise based on PERSONAL experiences.

If you need a shop on LI, I suggest you call detailing dynamics in Mineola NY. Ask for Eddie and tell him what you want to do. He is a detailer but he knowS where to go for what on LI. Tell him Jeff w/ The white TTS sent you and he will treat you like a freind from day 1.

Good Luck and I hope you get your car set up how you imagine it in your dreams.
