If I really like the Lambo (so far I do but my love for cars is comparable for the life of Orchids 3months) I will set my mind for some underground modification in the long term

I bought my RT12 from RAC. Great guys. In fact its there right now for service.
Love my '05 Gallardo too although a big part of it might be the UGR upgrade as my only gripe with the stock 1st gen Gallardo is the relative lack of acceleration.
If you don't have a exhaust on it: do it! When I had my '04 it was heaven with the Capristo exhaust.
It's an amazing car with relevant styling. I can't think of another car that has aged as gracefully after 10 years.

Med78, how about some pics of that rt12!
Interestingly, capristo is actually a German made exhaust.

The Europipe for the Lamborghini in the forums is the LOC exhaust.. After my experience with the 997TT I will listen more to people in the forums.. I will hate to change the exhaust in my Gallardo more than 1 time.... I'm not doing it again...

I will not do a tune unless I find a company like Champion that offer warranty for their job

Very excited for you, its a switch I thought of making once upon a time.. but my wife was NOT sold on the idea of an italian exotic. She's (probably rightly) under the impression that a porsche will be much easier maintenance wise.

Leo, would you mind PMing me about your car? I've got a buddy who's interested in it but I'd like to know what he'd potentially be getting into. His other option is to find a stock one and send it to proto for a full workup.

Congrats on the new black Lambo. It looks great! I know it will turn a lot of heads. Love to see some interior shots and hear what kind of factory upgrades came with it.

I am looking down the road at a preowned 2011 or newer Turbo S. Any words of wisdom that you could PM me would be helpful since you have already been down that road.

Thanks,

Jim

It's a good looking car - I'm sure Leo can provide answers to any questions your buddy has.

I don't think the CPO will follow the car once you trade it to a dealer.

I was told the CPO is an extension of the original warranty so it should be with the car... i bought my RANGE ROVER CPO from another person and i claimed many but many problems.... and i never had a problem

Porsche CPO does not transfer if the car is sold to/via a non-porsche dealer. So unfortunately, your CPO expired when RAC took possession of the car. Same happened to my GT3 when I traded it to them.

Yes, from another private owner the Porsche CPO is transferable (for a small fee) but not from a dealer.
