08' pricing?
Actually, I wasn't even looking for a TT. Been looking hard for a c2s - my price range is for a 2006 or 2007 model year c2s. But then this one popped up 3 miles from my house and I thought it sounded really cheap. I have the same thought - to good to be true....that's why I wanted to run it by you guys.
That being said, I'm going to check it out since it's so close to home...Couldn't hurt (except for costing me $70 grrrr

my car started out at $79.9 at dealer in January- By the end of March it was down to $62.7 due to lack of buyer here in Honolulu- Dealer said if it didn't sell that week they're shipping to their LA dealer. i bought car after 2nd test drive offering $1k less & got it for $61.7.
Car has 2 yr CPO, only issue was the CF defroster trim was coming up & slight lip on back of CF wheel. tried to get them to cover parts -they refused -- said they had more into car than my offer. I doubted that-- but few weeks after i bought car I talked to orig owner, she initially asked what i paid- i said tell me what you got for trade. she got $60k on trade toward a new Cayenne-
She couldn't believe i got her car for $61.7- Dealer did have in it about what i paid- they put new front tires, annual svc, various *****/dials inside.
I just love everything about it- the color, interior, performance.... sold my 02 996C2 to neighbor. Bought new full leather defroster dash trim from suncoast & installed myself- after reading all the CF has issues. It looks perfect now,- i live with the very slight separation( or lip) on back of steering wheel about 10-11oclock- not an issue at all to me & not noticeable.
Just had car into dealer for recurring CEL which i cleared every few weeks with Durametric pro but it returned. Finally after 4th time for CEL, took it to dealer- they replaced thermostat & temp sensor, new antifreeze under CPO-

What your dealer should have done was to sell u the car w cpo, then bring you in a few weeks later for cpo coverage of the cf. My dealer did exactly that, replacing nearly the entire cf all under cpo.
But you got a great deal, they had to move that car, I'm sure they lost $ on the deal.

while buying car, i asked svc mgr about getting CF dash/wheel fixed under CPO -since i found out dash CF had been repaired/replaced twice already under orig fact warranty- was told CPO wouldn't cover- didn't push it - just replaced warped CF dash trim myself, after trying to repair it, as it was driving me nuts-
i just had car back for svc last wk, but didn't ask again about getting wheel covered under CPO. next time.

Def do, my dealer made it clear, b4 the purchase the cost is on the dealer, post sale cpo.
They replaced 6700$ worth of cf on mine. Cheap crap they use, only takes one or two exposures to hot/cold extremes to crack and peal. I would never order it on a car I spec'd.
