GT2 vs Turbo AWD only diff?

Is a GT2 more like a Turbo without the front drive or is it more like a GT3 with a turbo? Also are all GT2s and GT3s, RS lightweights? Turbos seem to have all the creature comforts.

The GT2 997.1 is nothing like a 997.1/2 turbo. More like the GT3, but heavier. Over the turbo it is more nimble, faster, quicker, requires more attention when driving (2-wheel drive), lighter, better made, different turbo housings, diff. muffler, etc. A completely different car!
