Hey guys, I got the cable and software installed and went to flash the car but the available file says it is for a 6-speed w/launch control. My car is a Tip. I wanted to get it flashed for the weekend local drags but now I am worried it might be the wrong file. Tried to email EPL but will probably have to wait till Monday for an answer. Thoughts?

 

Don't load it unless you get approval from vendor. Definitely not worth the risk.

How about some baseline runs without the tune and then some post?

 

If there is any question, do not attempt the flash.

With these flashes, unless everything is perfect, you can and will brick your ecu. This is the one thing I don't touch myself, let a pro do it, I learned the hard way.

This is true, don't mess with that... I had a problem when I was trying to Flash my car and it wasn't a good experience
