After reading all these threads...I can't even figure out how this rev report reads as such. Is it an anomaly to be discarded...or should I just look for another vehicle? The car in question is an 07 997TT with 2003 operating hours.

dude... u and me both. i have the cable and i should go out there to pull the report but honestly... not that big of a deal to me since i got to know the history with the car. if you are that worried, pick up fidelity warranty service. i got mine for a 6years 60k for only $5500 with $100 deduct. i can know sleep better for the next 6 years and not worry about my wife choking me while i sleep if something happened to this car.

my bigger worry is if something happened to body of the car and then i would not be able to recover the depreciation....

Based on what I know about how these are recorded, I'm not sure how this could be accurate with only 1 of type 4-6. Either way it was almost 500 hours ago since anything other than a type 1, so I personally wouldn't be too worried about it but as they say, an extended warranty would probably be a good idea..

I read before the 1's could be an error in the DME, ie they didn't really happen...
