New (to me) 2011 997.2 Turbo S
Actually it would be cool to race him stock first and then flash it and run him again to see the improvement. Although even tuned I wouldn't think I would stand a chance. He's got to be 650+ wheel now.
I'd love a tune that adds power only above 5K RPM. This thing doesn't need any more torque down low and besides, adding more torque lower in the RPM range tends to breaks things.

Doesn't need more torque?

Torque? Well I'm not sure what that is anyway because my M3 doesn't have any lol
Yep, champions warranty covers everything the oem warranty does as long as you are still under factory warranty you are eligible. Champion is the only one that does 997.2 kits at the moment too.

Thanks! Me too lol. Car is at the dealer still until I pick it up on Saturday.
Congratulations on the pick up longborader. Hopefully you can get some sleep between now and then. And order some Clear Side Markers
Hello Adam, glad to hear you went Porsche!! I do remember you saying at either Coalinga or Bakersfield that you were very interested in getting one. I'll see you at Bakersfield and we can run a before and after the GIAC mapping. The mapping really is the best bang for the buck!!!
I was hoping to run your M3 again and see what the difference would have been from the first Bakersfield video, the second Coalinga video and now Bakersfield again. With each race I've done something additional and the videos are great to confirm the improvements.

I would like to get more info on the Champion/GIAC warranty before I flash. But if in fact the full warranty is in effect, then yes, I will run the first part of the day stock and then flash and run again.
Looking forward to seeing you at the event!
Hi is this what you are referring to?

Here's a link to our warranty, in writing.

Basically, what it means is that as long as you stick with our "program" as far as hardware and software goes, and have installation and service done at one of our authorized centers, we'll basically blanket your factory warranty as long as it's still intact. That's peace of mind.

Picked it up Saturday (11/2/13). Awesome drive home through the Malibu Canyons to PCH and even in traffic on the 405. Performed flawlessly.
And then I tried launch control when I got home. Too much tire spin even with the Pilot Super Sports. I think it's quicker off the line just punching it off idle in automatic sport mode.
Anyway here's some pics that I took later that afternoon

I Love this picture!! Anything you didn't like?
Congrats again! Looks great!
You have a good idea running it first as stock to see what the mods do. Thomas said he could flash it at No-Fly. I wish I could have done that, I felt a definite increase in power when I did the initial flash back in early 2007 but I did not have anything to compare it to.
Keep in mind GIAC has a switcher that gives you the option to flash it back to stock which takes 5 sec or switch to pump, race fuel and even valet (doesn't allow the engine to exceed something like 2000 rpm). So because of the switcher, I didn't worry about any warranty items, I figured if anything happened I would switch it back to stock, didn't break anything anyway but did have 2 warranty items performed in the warranty period.
I wish I had the launch control, I don't know how to launch the TIP effectively!!!

Also, drop by BBI in Huntington Beach to look at their shop and their exhaust. They are a great group I've had experience with. They stand behind their products. I took GMG to small claims, had a 2nd set of their headers that cracked and they wouldn't resolve it. I won, got all money back including their labor charges!!
It was the change to BBI exhaust and methanol that was the difference between our two races at Bakersfield and Coalinga.
