Is it normal for the 1 to 2 shift on manual mode (normal, sport, and super sport) to take a little longer? I notice all the other up-shifts are much faster. The 1-2 up shift is actually annoying slower.

When you guys are driving it in manual mode and approaching a full stop and downshifting along the way, is it best to downshift from 2 to 1, or is it best to allow the computer to do this? I notice that if I forget the 2-1 downshift the computer will automatically downshift just before the stop (it's also much smoother.)
