501 AWHP 536 AWTQ Stock 997.2 Turbo S on a Mustang Dyno on 91 Octane
So as some of you know I took my bone stock 2011 Turbo S to Cobb Tuning in SoCal to test whether the IPD plenum actually could add +30 AWHP/TQ to an otherwise stock 997 Turbo. Results here:

As a result of this process, I did three pulls on their Mustang Dyno to get a stock baseline before the IPD plenum was installed.
To be honest, with 91 octane and a lower-reading Mustang Dyno like the one at Cobb, I was expecting somewhere around 450-460 AWHP.
The results were hard to believe. But the first dyno was pull backed up with two more pulls of almost equal power even though the intercoolers were heating up from lack of proper airflow. Cobb had no way of getting air to the intercoolers so two leaf blower from Home Depot were purchased and rigged up with duct tape to folding chairs and aimed into the intercooler vents. lol.
The dyno results are posted below. First pdf is the uncorrected results and the second pdf is corrected. It was 69 degrees ambient a correction factor was applied and so the uncorrected results of 501/536 were corrected down to 486/521.
Certainly the factory rating of 530 to the crank is very conservative.

I think it's pretty well known that the Turbo S doesn't go by SAE or STD, they go by WCS - "worst case scenario" meaning running on a hot humid muggy day. There is no way my 3500 pound TT-S traps 129 in the 1/4 while my 470 (crank hp) 3550 pound IS-F traps 119. I've run down the strips hundreds of times and no car that weighs 3500 pounds with 530 horses goes 129-130 mph. The Turbo S is really a 570 hp beast!!! Turbo S FTMFW!!!!
Also, bone stock, my Turbo S does 60-130 in 8.0 flat according to my VBOX.
