997.1TT - any suggestions to my wife for Xmas gift?

OK, I have a 997.1TT and most other things I want. The wife is asking for a Christmas list and thought I would ask you guys, any suggestions under $2,000? Yes she has a great job, but I would like to keep her within her budget, otherwise it will end up costing me LOL.

Maybe a watch, porsche stuff, a nice whiskey blend, Porsche model car, nice keychain, CF stuff (my car is black) etc. My interests are Porsche, scuba diving, guns, astronomy (maybe a trip to see the stars in Arizona), speed (maybe a trip to Atlanta motors ports park track day with an instructor).

Just thought I would ask my fellow Porsche guys, let me know if you have some ideas! BTW I'm in southern Georgia.

Thanks in advance!

1) Black cars always need good detailing - maybe a gift certificate for stage 1 paint correction, sealer, etc.

2) LED taillights

Not a P-car accessory, but since you're a shooter, I recommend my most recent acquisition. I bought a Colt Special Combat Gov't (full-size 1911 from their custom shop, match barrel, throated ramp and ejection port, extended tang safety, accurized trigger -- essentially many of the bells and whistles you'd get with Ed Brown, etc competitors but all from Colt itself.) Would be a beautiful addition to your safe and can be had for just under $2k -- she should start looking around now though. I just noticed you're in S GA. I highly recommend a blast up to Barrow's Gun Shop (combined with a NAPA Auto Parts) in Butler, GA. Between Columbus and Ft Valley. Amazing inventory and friendly folks. Cheers, Jeff

CF steering wheel. I love mine. Night and day over standard wheel. Feels like a million bucks in your hands. Before I got it I wouldn't have believed how much it adds to the driving experience.

Mine is from dct Motorsports.

If you guys haven't broke the TT in yet (wink wink)... I would ask her for a full throttle experience! You can always purchase the toys yourself. She can make you her toy, money can't buy that.

Thanks for the responses guys! Full Throttle, sounds good:D

I'm starting to collect too many guns, I'm thinking the government may start tracking mehilarious

CF Steering Wheel or Tail lights may be ideas I give her.

My 07 TT came with an OEM CF steering wheel. I never thought about it and didn't know how great it is. But, after thinking about it compared to a standard wheel it's a nice addition.

Xmas gift: Softronic ECU reflash ($2.2K), black chrome Fabspeed exhaust tips ($600.00 great looking addition), black OEM Porsche 911 turbo watch ($600.00), just a few thoughts.

I've looked at the CF steering wheels and will probably get one. I'm still looking at exhaust and will probably go FVD, the watch has been added to list and I put the ECU flash on last month (Love it)

How about this? It's within her budget.

I'd be asking for a trip to the Porsche driving school - I haven't been personally but those that have seem to have nothing but good to say about it.

I'd love a free track day somewhere nice.

I've thought about that, Atlanta Motorsports Park has a private sessions for the day that I will attend. It's about 4 hours away from me but would be worth it.
