Rhonda,

I take your "My Genius" tool differs from the Durametric cable or will it work with the Durametric diagnostic software?

Auzzie, We have 2 software delivery tool options available to our clients.

The FVD MyGenius Tool is only a software delivery tool.

But, if you prefer, we can also sell you the Durametric cable to load our software and you can have the durametric functionality. They both retail for the same price.

Having said that we prefer to use the MyGenius due to the ease of software delivery without issue.

Made a big mistake by not asking for an over-rev report prior to buying the car. I’m new to Porsche and didn’t know that it’s possible to read out this information.
However i think it’s OK….not perfect…but ok.

Take a look and let me know:
Range 1 – 11.048 - @451,5
Range 2 – 990 - @450,7
Range 3 – 141 - @450,6
Range 4 – 28 - @51,7
Range 5 – 0
Range 6 – 0
Total Hours: 452,8
So Range 1-3 i did myself when driving the car from Germany to Austria. No missed shifts – just hit the rev-limiter….. „new“ car - german autobahn – no speedlimit…do i have to say more?
And the Range 4 is now 400 hours in the past…so no need to worry right?
Porsche said no problem getting a warranty…. Will do so for sure.
Cheers,
Luke

Hey Guys,
a second opinion on the over-revs would be very appreciated.

Everything I've read on this board for the last year indicates that your 1/2/3 is fine and the limited Type 4 is ok as well.

Now forget about the over-revs and get back on the road!
