Question of best type battery

Is the EverStart Maxx battery 94R the best choice for 997 turbo? Any other recommendations? Any precautions with computer? Manual mentions just in/out with no special red flags....just making sure.

Yep...That will work. No special issues, and you will be fine. Worst possible battery replacement...Porsche Factory battery.

Funny how they saved weight by making doors and bonnet aluminum...then put a 200 lb. battery in the car

..Maybe a little exaggeration...but it is heavy!

buy the battery with the absolute highest CCA you can find.
autozone.pep boys/walmart etc generally have 1000ca / 850 cca batteries.
if you can find a 900+CCA battery, get it.
