Ok, I see what you are saying.
That's a Gemballa Avalanche. Just like a 997 RTurbo is a Porsche VIN with a Ruf tuning package, the Avalanche is a Porsche VIN with a label.
Both probably shouldn't be in the same boat as the Cayman R, which is a Porsche engineered and VIN'd vehicle, not a Cayman with a few aftermarket parts and a sticker.

OK...Went with the Porsche RS and cut the "S" off. Then sanded, primed and painted "Apple Red" gloss a few coats...then wet sanded a bit, and then polished & waxed....The factory adhesive was trash... after painting it fell off the backing...Easy to pull out of the recess on the back...and got the 3M pressure sensitive thin moulding tape .76 mm thick...used xacto knife and fit it in the grooves perfectly so it is not raised when applied.
Tested with masking tape until I liked the angle and position..heated deck with blowdryer (even though I am in a garage, it is only 19 degrees outside ! )
Put up on my lift so it was at face level and easy to work with..Think it looks pretty good...cannot get good shots only close ups in the garage...
I know some have an opinion about badges...no worries...I like it!
Pictures were in bad light and do not do it justice. If/when the sun ever comes out again...like May, I will get some better pics. R looks like it is raised in pictures, but it is flat against car....not sure why? I am no photograper
Have some new Schnell headers, fuel filter, coils and iridium plugs waiting to be installed next ....Still loving my Softronic tune and my Fabspeed exhaust also....

It's slate grey right?
Black is the most logical choice and what I'm leaning towards for my wheels but you just lose so much detail in the wheels. I do like the style though.
I find slate grey a hard colour to pick wheels for overall.
