That's interesting, rarely do you hear of someone taking their painted lowers off in favor of installing the black. Like everything, it is totally subjective and it's your car.

For me there's a distinct look these cars have when everything matches. Obviously on the darker colors it typically all blends in but on the lighter colors I personally find the look just right. Not that the other way is bad just a bit different. I've seen them come from the factory with painted sides only, leaving the front and back black and have seen people who DD their cars swap to the black front with everything else painted because they get too frustrated scraping it everywhere.

I actually went a step further with mine and ordered all new peices. I prefer the GT2 side skirts and aero front lip. I ordered new from Suncoast all the OEM parts - front, rear and GT2 sides primered. Wasn't cheap but neither is the car. Then had them painted to match, cured for 3-months and then applied clear bra like the rest of the car. IMO the GT2 side skirts looks great! Really does add to the appearance and is a very noticeable change, especially on lighter colors.
