EVOMS GT2 Clutch KIT question

Hi guys,

i have a 2007 997 Turbo and bought the Evoms GT2 clutch Kit last year.
Now during the installation i have a problem.

I am a little confused about the clutch assist spring coming with the kit.
Did I have to use the spring in my 997TT or not?
- The one coming with the evoms kit doesn't fit the mounting point, why?

Thanks a lot for your support guys.

Regards

I also installed the EVOMS kit about 6 months ago. If i recall, one of the purposes of switching to this kit is to REMOVE the clutch assist spring and accumulator.

Use the one supplied with the kit. The pins are slightly smaller on the new assist spring, but once everything is installed and the system pressurized, the assist spring will hold itself in place without moving.
