I knew the answer to this awhile ago but I forgot. I couldn't find anything via a search. Everyone always talks about the rear bumper. I know the grill inserts are slightly different, but are the front bumpers identical or are they openings a little larger? Can't remember.

 

The gen 2 bumpers are a little bit different to gen 1. The side grills over lap on to the bumper skin a bit also the gen 2 bumpers have a indentation in them so it fits flush. Openings & fixings are all the same etc. I will find you a pic to explain better...

I noticed the slats before, but didn't know about the indentations.

I wonder if that whole bumper opening is slightly bigger too. For some reason I thought they were.
