Now i am having problems with the pdc sensors, my mechanic says that the new ones will not work, i have both gen 1 and gen 2 pdc sensors. My thought was to just plug in the gen 2 pdc sensors sinche the bumper was sold including thoose, but my mechanic says that they wont work?

You would need to extend your exhaust outlet pipes by around an inch or 2.
And then use a spacer on the clamp to fit.

And do you have any experience with this? A picture would be really appreciated. My mechanic is unsure how we can solve this.

I've not done it yet but will be in the next month or so, its the only way to get it to fit.
Or you can custom mod the exhaust tip which will be more tricky and a lot more work. Kinda straight forward once you look at it from underneath...

If the PDC brackets are broken / or don't want to reuse them you can get new ones from Volkswagen models
They are about 8-10EUR / pc.

But it needs to be extended to the side, should i cut in the existing piping or just add another bit?
