Boost gauge on TTS, stock

Very cool. That makes sense then. I wonder if I view it in "bars" if it will read higher?

started at 2nd gear, 3rd, 4th and 5th has constant boost across the rev range.

Do you have a 997.2? And if so, is that with sport chrono?
Just want to clarify....does my 997.2 Turbo S have 15 psi peak boost all the time?
Thanks!

With SC on, it goes higher with the little up arrow at the end of the bar. The 997.2 should also have peak boost like 997.1 but i don't know if its 15psi.

Below is a pic from my 2011 Turbo S instruction manual. It says the Turbo S max boost is 17psi.
Is that incorrect/typo?? I've read here and on other locations on the web that the 997.2 over boost on the Turbo and constant boost on the Turbo S is 14.5.
Also, the readout on my center display goes to 18psi. The horizontal bar actually has: 0,9,18.

yes with the SC on, you will have max boost @ 17psi. The boost gauge is a fancy little thing. It is not an accurate measurement on our vehicles. With my ECU tuned, i have more boost now on the car and it doesn't reflect accurately on my gauge. Do a forum search, there is info on boost gauge readings.

So does a car equipped with Sport Chrono have more boost? If I want max performance should I put the car in Sport Chrono (stopwatch) and Sport Plus mode?
My car has a GIAC tune so not sure any of this would make a difference.

If you want the best out of the car run it with the sport plus bottom on, thats it
