Oh my God! What is going on with my car???
I test drove the car, and sadly got the overheating message again! for few seconds then it went away! I don't know what to think anymore.
I was told that only 2 parts could cause the overheating: Gearbox oil cooler OR the temperature sensor (this is a full unit, not a small sensor).
Would someone with strong technical knowledge give their input.
I thought i would get a lot of input on this topic. I mean I know PDK is solid, but my google search shows a lot of overheating issues mainly on track.

man, i feel for you . you recently bought this car correct? i remember seeing the posts when you first got it. beautiful car. i have a white one too. and i also had a huge repair as soon as i got it.
hopefully, your mechanic is helping you with the bill since he is basically trial and error fixing. i don't know if you have a porsche specialist near you , but my shop basically diagnosed a problem with mine , that the dealer couldn't figure out for over a week. basically , the dealer was fixing things hoping that the things he fixed was the problem. sadly , he was wrong.
if you meed my shops number, pm me and i can give it to you . i don't want to break any forum rules by posting a business name. i'm not affiliated with them, just trying to help you out. they may not be able to help, but worth a try?

Dont make mistake like me and replace random things ! By the end of the day you will spend more money that would cost you to replace transmission ! Pdk is not bulletproof (taking reference panamera pdk problem thread) and looks like you got a lemon
Go to a real porsche servise and get a new transmission and sell the old one .

What does the term lemon mean?
Well the sad part is that i bought the car with only about 23,000 km, and no accident history. Why is this happening?
Im sure a full transmission will cost thousands!

A lemon is a car, often new, that is found to be defective only after it has been bought. Any vehicle with numerous, severe issues can be termed a "lemon," and, by extension, any product with flaws too great or severe to serve its purpose can be described as a "lemon".
Looks like its your only solution bro ! Talk with a real porsche specialist , or send a letter to porsche . They build the car so will know whats wrong with it !
I was in a same situation some months ago with my cayenne and replaced random things (6.5kspend) to know that the problem with the shifting was the trans. Valve body (1.5k) ! And sometimes I think I could have bought a new transmission with that money

^ would love to. But i purchased my car from Dubai and here in Kuwait if you didn't purchase your car from the Porsche dealership, they charge about 3,600 USD just to open up a file with service! Owner of dealership made this clause and no way around it!
And the 3,600 USD is not even credit that can be used! Nop!
