Wheel offset help
should I use spacers to even the rears out?
even though ill be dropped on gmg springs?
hmm... do you think ill be good after bring lowered on GMG springs?? its about an inch drop...
If you're getting custom wheels why resort to spacers. Build them to the desired spec. However in my opinion a 40 up front and a 50 rear would require a 5-7mm spacer in the rear. Again drop, camber setting all come into account.
thanks! if I go with these wheels ill most likely be using 5mm spacers so itll be =45 in the rear!
Unfortunately it is not custom wheels... its Advan RZ-DF, which has set offsets. a used set just popped up with the offset of +40 front and +50 rear fitted onto a 997 GT2, that's why I was asking.

luckily it is local, but the only thing im worried about is that on another thread I read about how if the offset or the size of the tire is changed too much, the front diff might get effed up in the long run... is there any truth to that?
