Thanks Eric, top notch parts with top notch service!! Now, if I could only get that y-pipe in a less subdued color.......

Sorry, we are all about OEM type finishes to keep the car looking very clean and refined. We do understand some owners want to stand out. It wouldn't be hard to remove that pipe and powder coat it a different color. I bet there are quite a few powder coaters in your area.

The Alpha 10 Porsche was very impressive in both form and function - but I'd expect no less from AMS.

Let me know when the Alpha 16 package is ready for the GT2. Thanks.

My Alpha 10 GTR did 189mph in the PR 1/2 Mile, the Alpha 9 GTRs did around 175mph... No doubt the 997.1 Alpha 10's will get to the 190+mph in the 1/2 miles events

The alpha 10 Porsches will not hit 190+ in the half mile, not with a 3.6 liter making 900-950whp. You need to change gearing on the transmission. Alpha 10 gtr's are 1100whp+

If you would have had a higher stage shep trans you would have put more power down. The fully optioned alpha 10's make 1,100-1,150whp

Lol how do you know what tranny did my A10 have??? I have stage 3 from Sean Ivy, can handle more than 1000whp, We stop on 987whp because of the high duty cycle on the Injectors (2000cc on E85)

If my GTR with 987whp did 189 I believe the A10 997 can do it too

Because if you had a alpha 10 with all the options you would be pushing a lot more than 987whp. Not sure why you didn't spend the money for the proper fuel system. AMS will chime in tomorrow I hope and tell you the same thing.

The alpha 10 997.1 did 182 as it's best as shown above in the video. It's not going to get better than that bud. You need more discplacement and bigger turbos or better gearing. Just because I drive a Porsche doesn't mean that's the only platform I know. I actually have just as many Gtr buddies as I do Porsche. A good friend of mine actually owns the only customer owned alpha 10 997.1 btw.

I have the fuel system that AMS recommend for the A10, Eric can tell you that my A10 is the first on the island and is the second fastest GTR in a 1/2 mile on the caribbean. Believe me, I know A10's... If you are so sure that the 997 A10 can't go faster be my guest, but I learn that AMS always have something for the end

Maybe your A10 is one of the first, IDK. The newer ones produce 1100whp+....The Alpha 10 997.1 doesn't have much room left as far as trap speed in the half. Maybe 185 MAX. Positive on that too, that's not AMS's fault it's just you can only squeeze so much power out of alpha 30's and a 3.6 liter with mild top end work (Headstuds). Now if they went 3.8 like a GTR with a custom GT30 and a GT3 intake manifold and a 997GT2 transmission now thats a different story.

BUT were talking ALPHA 3076 Turbos.

Buddy your not understanding my point... If my A10 GTR with 987whp did 189mph on the 1/2mile a 997 with similar whp can do it too... Whatever engines, turbos, etc have on it, get it? Also, my A10 could do 1000whp + but for fuel effeciency we let it on 987whp, read before you write pal

Agh man I give up on you. Hopefully next time you speak with AMS Eric can explain it to you. Pretty sure I've been to a lot more events then you have.
