I Have a EVT 580 tune with techart exhaust right now and was thinking about upgrading the intercoolers down the road. I'm happy with the current power and don't plan on upgrading the turbos any time soon.

I love in a dry and very hot city so I figured upgraded intercoolers may be a good idea for my car. Any tips or direction for this upgrade?

 

Do you have a 997.1 or .2?

If you have the .1 get the 997.2/gt2rs IC's, cost approx. $1400 and are great for a car with oem turbos.

 

Thank you. I have a .1. I found a few post on the forum about this. Sounds like the .2 intercoolers were a big improvement from the .1. Thanks for the direction

 

I have the same tune withe AWE gen 2 exhaust and installed the Champion IC's. Can't say I notice a significant difference.....but then didn't time it before and after.

 

How much boost are you running with this tune?

 

I noticed a big difference with .2 RS coolers on a similar set up. The warmer the climate, the more noticeable the result.
