Upgraded VTGs or Alphas on a PDK

Dodson is the main company for all AutoStyle clutch cars such as the Porsche PDK. Nothing to hide. I actually hate when companies hide information, like they invented it or something.
It looks like the upgrades are starting to trickle in:

Most of the problem is the lack of viable fuel system upgrades. Unless you add in supplementary port injection and a standalone there isn't really enough headroom in the fuel system to do more.
If people could make enough power to break the PDK, there would be more upgrades.

Good point. It's always about what's next. Fuel system, then rods/motor limits, then PDK.

As for clutch packs, they have also been readily available for quite some time. The problem is that unlike most dual clutch gearboxes, the Porsche PDK is consider "non-serviceable" which means that in order to get to the clutches, you actually have to cut the gearbox open. Once it's open, you have to then weld it back together within .0001 of it's original form. We've done it many times...it's not easy, and at this point, there's no benefit to upgraded clutch packs.
This has been available for quite some time. Problem is, if you dig a little deeper they say it's really only good for just over 600 whp, which is honestly something we're doing on the stock clutches at this point.

Wow- that's just insane!! I thought read a post from Longboarder mentioning BBI welding the trans back together, but I thought my memory was faulty...
Good thing the trans is good to get into the 9's in stock form.
Thanks for the info.
