IPD Plenum & Y-Pipe question
IPD Plenum & Y-Pipe question
Hello,
I wanted to ask you guys with IPD Plenums, or if anyone that has experience or knowledge on the subject can comment.
I remember when I installed my IPD Plenum & Y-Pipe, it comes with some sort of Plug you use on one of the hoses that goes to the Y-Pipe. I can't seem to find the instructions online so I can't verify if this comes with the Plenum, or the Y-Pipe. But I was wondering what this is for?
It's used inside one of the hoses that connects to the Y-Pipe, it's not a complete plug, but sort of thing that goes into the hose, and has a small hole in the middle.
Just wondering. Thank you.

are you talking about a checkvalve on the back of the plenum?

I don't think so,
The Y-Pipe has two small hoses that plug into it, on the right side (Looking down at the engine bay), right below the big hose coming from the Diverter valve.
One of the small hoses is sort of a tiny plastic tube with a connector on the tip, and the other is a small regular rubber hose.
I remember on that rubber hose you had to insert a part that was provided by IPD, it was this sort if plug that had a small hole in the middle, sort of to make the hose diameter smaller at that part, and then you plugged it into the Y-Pipe.
I'm just wondering what this is for, since I recently changed my Y-Pipe but I'm not sure if I should get rid of that.

The Y-pipe has two small ports on the right side just before it connects to the TB, below the Diverter valve rubber hose.
One is for a small plastic tube with a plastic connector, and the other is a rubber hose.
That rubber hose is the one I'm talking about.
