Hello guys,
Some of you know may remember me
I am now on my 7th Porsche Turbo (6 997tt's and 1 996tt) and man do I love these cars!!!
In fact I did not think (there are NO 997.2 in Greece unfortunately - only a couple in the entire country, so no experience whatsoever prior to the purchase) that the 997.2 would be so radically different than the 997.1 and I was pleasantly surprised...
This car is a beast with a lot of potential and believe me when I say I really know what 997's can and can not do....
This car can easily pull under 6.5sec (7.5 60-130) completely stock if temps drop down a bit and if I simply put my PCCB (which I have in my garage) on! I am 100% certain!
Needless to say that I am also certain that it will do sub 6sec 60-130 simply with an exhaust and a tune!
Stay tuned pls - as this journey has just began!

There is no doubt in my mind that one day you will hold the record 100-200kph and 60-130mph for the 997.2 Turbo. Given your track record, you are quite possibly the best in the world at finding the optimal conditions and optimizing your car. The 6.17sec 60-130 you did with your ESS 600 DCT M3 is almost unbelievable and that record still stands today. Looking forward to what you have in store for this car!
thanks for the vote of confidence man! I will not have to try that much since this is great platform and exteremely efficient... to pull these times in mid-summer Greek heat in dead straight roads without doing anyting else than simply pressing on the gas pedal on a 100% stock - non S - car is simply amazing! Even though my previous Tip 997 was a beast (as can be witnessed from my times) this feels more fun for some reason...
You were the reason I decided to sell it and get into the PDK and your great videos that made me realize that there is something special going on with this car...

Waiting for my Cobb and my exhaust to be delivered so I can start logging and tuning and then doing some runs again!
Cheers

Haha glad I helped! I know this car has a 5.9second 60-130 in it with tune + race gas and free flowing exhaust. It just needs a negative DA and maybe -2% slope. I have a feeling you will be the first in the 5's! I'm going to try as well but I need to wait until December before it cools down.
Cheers.
