9.5j REAR winter wheels with 265/35/r19 instead of 11j 295/35/r19?

I'm getting a pretty sweet deal on a set of winter rims/tires but not too sure on the rear set of rims. This is for a complete set of porsche 19" "turbo wheels" wrapped with blizzaks. The fronts are the standard 8.5j rims fitted with 235/35/r19 and the rears instead of being the standard 11j rims with 295/35/r19 are instead actually on 9.5j rims wrapped with 265/35/r19s. They are coming off of a 2008 turbo apparently with no issues, I'm wondering though if this configuration might be an issue or unsafe on my '09 with PCCBs. Additionally with the narrower width do you guys think I'll need spacers in the rear to not look this winter season? Lol
And lastly , apparently the tpms sensors for these cars/rims are In the valve stem as far as I have heard.. Wondering is it just a simple mount the wheels and set option to winter tires from summer in the cars tire configuration menu? Any thoughts ?

Agreed! Although I can't scientifically explain why, sounds like you are asking for all sorts of problems including handling. Stick to recommended.

The winter rule is to use narrow and taller tyres. If your place has rough weather during winter and you can't enjoy the car performance but still want to be able to drive it around and take advantage of the awd, then the perfect match for the 235/35-19 is the 265/30-19. Porsche recommended 235/35-19 and 305/30-19 has 3% tyre diameter difference, so as long as you keep or decrease that difference, you can fit all the tyre width you want.

In fact, the 265/35-19 has the same tyre diameter of the 305/30-19 and keep the same porsche factory % difference front vs rear tyre diameter. That guy knows pretty well was he was doing, because narrow tyres also need narrow wheels width to avoid tyres stretching and lower overall diameter. You just need to see if the wheels offset is the correct for your car and look taste.

Tiago is right
but its not an issue if the height is safe or not, it is (its the same diamter as an OEM 305/30).

HOWEVER, keep in mine the suspension , and more specifically the PASM system was designed for a 305 tire, youre narrowing your rear wheels by 2 inches !!. to me , thats insane. not to mention dangerous.

the 997 is probably better than your average 4x4 suv because our motors sit over the rear axles.

i would suggest you stick to what porsche advises, a 295. you wont have any issue driving your car in the snow. i run a 295 nokian snow tire for winter, and the car is just planted.
