This "suspension noob" needs help

I recently purchased an 07 997 TT and am loving every second of it. Only issue so far is that my butt tells me it rides a bit like my daily driver (2013 Mini Cooper S w/ Sport package) in that I feel a lot of bumps. I'm not sure if the previous owner(s) did any suspension mods but they did replace the turbo wheels with GT3 wheels.

Regardless, what suspension goodies (model # and name) would you recommend for daily street use. I don't track and am looking for something a little more comfy for around Pittsburgh's notoriously bad roads. I do travel quite a lot and just don't want all the teeth jarring.

Cheers!

A good start would be to search a couple of threads which discuss TPC's DSC suspension module on this forum. This module simply replaces the OEM PASM module. It seems to have tamed the too hard/too soft aspects of the stock suspension. It has 3 modes and firmly plants the car in all modes. I believe, from what you have said, that you might prefer mode 1 which is comfortable for daily driving, but the car remains fully planted through aggressive cornering. No need to change suspension components.
Enjoy the new car.

I would say for DD duties the best combo to get will be...

1. Eibach springs and sways (eibach makes springs for GMG and TechART)
2. TPC DSC module
3. rear toe links

That should be more then enough!

I would check to see if there are any suspension mods first. If yes, I would revert back to stock as the OEM setup was the best for comfort bar the 'sports' mode IMO. Any other modifications would give you more feedback.

Also as kchu221 mentioned, some on here posted very good experiences with the TPC DSC module. This fixes the jittery experience with the sports mode when switched 'ON' from what i understand.

I second what brooklyn boosting said. Give TPC Racing a call and talk to Tom or Harris and get their DSC (Dynamic Suspension Control) module. It will make a world of difference towards what you are trying to accomplish.
