Updated with dyno graph.

Hello 6speeders,

I just got my car tuned by Undercover Tuning at NJ. Where to start? Well, if someone is considering Cobb AP tune with custom tuning, please do it! It's the way to go as far as tuning goes. I already had a Softronic tune so I was debating myself whether to go another tuning or keep it as is. But I pulled the trigger on Cobb AP3 with custom tuning because I got a great deal with Undercover that I couldn't pass for their Black Friday special. Lawrence hooked me up and Garth tuned my car. They are great people to deal with. BTW, this is one of my best things to have done with my car! I'm still waiting my dyno files from Lawrence to post up here but this is the result if I remember correctly. Also I was told their Mustang dyno reads about 5~6% lower than other Mustang dynos for some reason so keep in mind that.

The baseline run with Softronic 93 oct tune was 465whp and 536wtq. Garth did a magic with AP3 and the result was 499whp and 579wtq. He picked up 34whp and 43wtq. That's from a custom tuning alone! I was so impressed and happy with the result. My car feels like torque monstor now. Not to mention car feels much smoother than before. Well, I will post the dyno graph when I get them.

My mods are:
Softronic Tune(Now with Cobb AP :))
Kline catless exhaust
997.2 IC
IPD Plenum
BMC filter
Forge Motorspot BRV
Sachs 2.5 with RS single FW
EVOMS Pulley

Finally, here are pic and vid I took. Can you see the orange flame out of exhaust tips?:) Enjoy!

Custom tuning beats a canned tuned 100% of the time. Congrats on your new-found power :)

Yep, probably my stock VTGs are maxed out.:o That's why I couldn't get much higher on race gas(98 Sunoco GTX) tune. I forgot to mention that Garth also did race gas tune. But he could only make 511whp and about same wtq as pump gas. However I saw about 25~30wtq gain in the midrange with 98 oct. But the topend both hp and tq were not much of improvement over 93 pump gas.

In theory a true 1/2 mile is possible, but for safety and comparisons we've been limiting it to 1800'. We have test day set up for 2015 to run it at a longer distance to gauge how safe it is.
