what mods to do
I've been super happy with my drivability and "user interface" mods so far, especially the padded XPA steering wheel (original owner didn't spring for it as factory option), and freshly installed DSC module and Numeric Racing shifter.
I will be doing the suspension, exhaust (EP2) and some other bolt-ons a bit later but just with its current Cobb AccessPort ECU tune and above upgrades the car is extremely enjoyable and fast.

One thing not mentioned thus far is that if you do the tune you will need a new clutch to handle the power.
Your stock clutch will work for a little bit but not for too long.
I say go TPC DSC first for handling improvement.

I'm contemplating doing the tune. I finally drove a .2 with a tune and I don't know why people say a tune and an exhaust. That car was spinning the tires and had a lot of torque steer after the tune.
If your upping the power I would say you have to up the suspension to handle it. I'd say drop links and new lower control arms if a tune is being done. DSC should be done regardless to just make the shocks perform properly.

I'm cattless at the moment, but I will be putting the 200cells back soon.
I would go for the 100cells if I had to use them.

Just out of curiosity, why are you going back to cats?
since you are in Jersey, hit up Undercover in Maple Shade for a tune and exhaust. top notch porsche service / tuning there, everything is reasonably priced too.

I love the sound of the FVD sound version exhaust with 200 cell cats so I'll probably end up getting that exhaust next year with their tune. Seems to have good reviews so that's another option for you to consider.
I agree that suspension is usually a good thing to start with on any car as well.

No. this looks like an ECU tune which is probably very good, but these guys also make and sell a PASM replacement module which is a great suspension upgrade. Several threads with reviews and discussions on this forum discussing the DSC suspension module. A search should provide a lot of reading material. Also you can call these guys - very easy to deal with.
still broken.
