997 Turbo TCU

Does anyone know if the TCU is specified/locked to a specific car or does it fit any 997 turbo without coding?

No coding needed. You can move it from one car to another. It will get the new VIN stored automatically.

I finally got my new TCU controller today and installed it, now the car won´t start When i tried to start it, it says select gear and the P lights disappear. I think it needs to be coded. Does anyone have another idea or suggestion?
