Options sticker

Hey guys
Recently bought another 997tt, these things are like crack....
Anyway, one thing it's missing is the option sticker that's usually in the maint manual or under the bonnet.
I have the build sheet, but would love to ad the sticker as well, anybody know where I can get one?
Thanx
C

Not positive, but I have seen reference to dealers being able to order/reproduce those for a small fee? Worth checking....

Good luck.

They are rarely under the hood in 997 cars like they were in previous generations. If you don't have the original manual, then you probably don't have the sticker.

Let us know if you're able to get a reproduction.

My original 07 had it under the hood and one in the manual.
Dealer (local) claimed they can't get it, might try sun coast.

I don't think dealer can reproduce...but there is a RL or 6S member who can print them from your option list - look just like OEM. I'll see if I can find a link or maybe someone else will link it for you.

Great luck with the new P car. Now you have decisions to make every morning and neither is a bad one!

Enjoy it in the best of health. Perhaps I'll see you on the LIE in the wee hours of the morning.

Have a great day!

Hey Chris, i seem to remember seeing a post here (maybe Jason - Atomic80?) that you could buy a "certificate of authenticity" or something like that from porsche that was kind of like a birth certificate for your car. i think it had the options on it.

I loved it when Porsche put those stickers on the trunk.

I had a CoA, I wanted the actual sticker.

I had the Mcan as a loaner and loved it. Perfect size and great creature comforts. Enjoy them both!

My understanding was that they stopped doing the underhood stickers for the 997 series cars.

I've owned a 07 cayman (987C) and an 07 Carrera S (997) and and 07 997 turbo and none of them had/have the stickers.

They still do the stickers, Porsche just doesn't put them on the underside of the hood - they provide it loose and leave it up to the dealer to attach. Some are more diligent than others so they do get misplaced.
