Tkx perfprmance vs rennwerke?

I've been using lynmor Motorsports for the work done on my car and since day one I've been having to go back and forth because they messed up some **** -_-. It's very frustrating because I live a hour away. They are nice guys though but I'm kinda scared to go back. Has anyone used tkx or Rennwerke? Positive and negative experiences? Thanks

I've never used either one. I got pricing once from tkx to do some work but never went thru with the project. I heard good things about rennwerke. I never heard any reviews about tkx so I don't exactly know how there craftsmanship is.

Im sure they are expensive but you know how the old saying goes..... You get what you pay for. Plus I doubt you want to be skimping on these expensive pieces of machinery

I rather pay and go to a shop that does it right the first time so I can enjoy my car and not worry about it so much

I got the run around from TKX just trying to get pricing and a time to do a simple install on my old BMW..... I would not go near Lynmor as I have seen some of their results :-(

but I think wealthmanager here used them and his car was a large build and is for sale at the moment with zero verified results as to times and whp etc... he can advise you there on top of your own feelings which sound negative

Tim941NYC does my work and all the decent LI builds FWIW

He is building 2-3 997TT engine at the moment and is about to do my 996TT and 32krazy's car and has his own car (world record 1 mile), does work on spoolbus and other small and large builds. He also has a local racing guy who is also a mechanic have him do a large 1200+ whp 997TT build very soon...

His results speak for themself

FWIW - I have had bad experiences with a few NY dealers, tuners and engine shops over the last 12 years with various makes and models. Tim and one local guy here in the Hamptons are the only people who will ever touch a car of mine again and Tim is the only one who I would let touch my Porker

I used to go to tkx all the time, Taso is very good. They got so busy I could never get my car in so I started using manhattan motorsports in Roslyn.

+1 for TKX, they have been in the game for a while and certified. Taso is meticulous, clean and cautions; been going there for about 4-5 years for maintenance, they do phenomenal 5 star work. I had them do everything from a Centerlock conversion, gt2/3 bumpers and full motor repairs under them and have to always say they impress me with the quality they give.
