IMHO the 911 turbo has a classic look. My car gets positive comments from friends and strangers all the time. I do like the looks of the Audi, but I would not trade my 911 for one. IF I had room for both in my garage, I would consider and R8-V10........or maybe a GT3.....or a GT3 RS....or a Cayman GT4......or......oh, well you know where this is going.
I'm with you Matt. I love the classic look the 997 as well however the comment was directed at the look of the 997TT relative to the R8 (or other exotics such as the F430 or Gallardo). 9/10 would likely say the R8 looks better. For the record, I haven't lost that 'special feeling' with my TTS...for those who have, I suggest hitting a track near you (if you haven't already). Great way to open up another chapter in the story that is the blissful ownership of a Porsche turbo!

i have thought about grabbing a R8V10 but I dont think the used pricing is there yet and for similar money i think the McLaren delivers far more performance and its also far more exclusive and modern. one thing we all know how to do is add horsepower, but removing weight is less appealing due to losing comfort features. McLaren really did it right with the carbon monocoque cabins etc. a ligther car to begin with will always stop, handle, accelerate and more importantly feel better. only problem - no manual....
