Durametric help...

I finally got a durametric and have a question about reading the ecu. The computer connects and gives info for just about everything, except the DME. When I try to get actual values from the DME, it says module not recognized, defaulting to 710 ecu. Any ideas how to correct this? I've pulled the instrument cluster fuse and reset. I have a GIAC tune on the car but assume this shouldn't affect the ability to read. Everything else on the durametric seems to work fine, just can't access dme. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank You!
