Help!! About to purchase a used porsche!

I am buying a porsche turbo from out of state and it is currently at the porsche dealership about to get a PPI. I just want to make sure they can tell if the ECU has been messed with and put back to normal OR if the boost was adjusted. If you can tell, how do you find that out. I'd like to tell them how because when I asked, the service guy said he "thinks" he can tell when they plus it in. Thanks guys...

The only way I know of is to look at the "Programming Operations"
I can't remember if it should be "00" or "01" for stock.
