Ryan.... Using syvecs. I'm at 82% DC on the injectors and the turbos have a lot left but this is more than enough for the street

BTW, I used a standard engine stand. Just bolted it to the trans bolt holes.

Marc,
I'm using 6 2200 cc injectors on E85

I use a regular engine stand with aluminum rod spacers I made.
Works perfect and cost $80?

Congrats on the new born!

Very impressive HP and torque but more impressive is that its "home made" reflecting that its possible on this platform with skills (and right tools).
Regarding the high rpm levels, are you still with the vario cam+ setup or you went GT3 style towers and cams/one stage Intake lifter?

Yes. I'm on variocam. The tuner had some difficulty getting it set with these cams and heads but in the end it's beautiful.

Thats cool to have low end power with high rpm capability.

I saw the clip very smooth and effortless pull, are you still with stock coils with the syvecs?

Ryan is a master tuner. When we started the dyno, I had a crazy torque curve, I hit 1000 ft lbs and it all came in 10 mph. The car would have been brutal on the street. He sorted it out to what you see in the video and on the plot.
I have Evoms coils.

I must say that with this build you rolled out a lot of misconceptions regarding parts you are using and the capacity/capability of them.
Many "do and don't do" that I heard from "knowledgeable" guys went out the window (at least for me...) and its all bc you have no agenda only pure P car passion.

++ to SRM on the support!

keep up the great work and good luck!

Thank you. That was my intention with my thread. There are only a handful of guys out there that have built a lot of power and they're very closed lip'd on how they did it.

Sean from SRM gave me some stress and frustration at times in the project getting my parts, but was always very helpful and available when I needed it. We've spent many hours talking and he has become a friend and is another guy who has a true passion for cars. He's also a great source of knowledge because he's the guy willing to take any chance on any part on his car. He puts a part in and the car does a bunch of full boost/full throttle runs immediately. If he doesn't break it, chances are no one else will That's a guy I want to get advice on parts from.

Unfortunately, a lot of the users on this board are sponsors or friends of sponsors so the information can be very biased or incorrect. I wasted a bunch of money on advice from other people and had to sort through finding the truth.

I'm going to do a conclusion to this thread with a bunch of the things I've learned along the way. I hope I can save people some of the head aches and extra money I went through and end up with a car that was better than they started with, not one they don't want to drive now because their mods have made it worse to drive.

Good stuff VR6TEE. Echo everything you said about my experience with SRM. He probably needs a business manager, but great guy who offered me assistance and advice. Beyond the build I think he is a good guy and would probably be friends IRL. :beers:

Also thanks to you for lending an ear when I ran into my own issues. Now we both have sick fast ****ing cars. Good thing you are so far away, 'cause if we raced I would probably be spending more money

Are you guys paying extra for the erp triple revisions? I know it's been a few along the way. Also did you pay extra for the last revision with the hydraulic assist?
