Coming from the Supra world almost all my life, that is real!


Supra's built right, once in their power band makes a pretty flat power curve like 911's. If the supra is making 1000RWHP through an AUTO, you are guaranteed that for most of the run that car is not 100RWHP short of that peak!! If that was a 6spd he would most likely lay down 1080-1100RWHP over the power robbing Auto!


With a equally good power band as the 997 (once in power band), less weight, an auto running vs 6spd(SLOW SHIFTING on top of it all) and making about 150-200RWHP more (compare 6sp to 6sp #'s), you get that result.


I think considering all of the above the 997 did pretty good considering the weapon a Supra, Single, NOS, AUTO could be on the streets!


Now for an overall street machine / power band (pre peak power, spool etc) I will take the 997 any day of the week!
