All the photos he posted seemed to be photos taken at the place - the headlamp is still not installed and there is a rag sticking out of the hood - do you think they delivered it like that?

I am curious to see how the car looks right now, AFTER he took delivery.

 

The sticker on the windshield has 4/11 Wonder if the pic is from 2011.

 

not my cup of tea at all but to each there own, dunno what you guys are talking about it being a salvaged car with a "kit" on it etc. The rear says Gemballa and the sides say Avalanche

Why did you put the word kit in quotes when the car obviously has a substantial body kit on it?


Thanks for deciphering the lettering for us What's your point? A real Gemballa avalanche has a different front bumper, hood, and rear deck. It also doesn't have 991 tails.

This most likely means that either this car is not a gemballa avalanche and this has a knockoff widebody kit on it, which is what wicked is known to make, or that it's a real gemballa avalanche, thats been wrecked, and had the hood,front bumper, and god knows what else replaced, which is also something wicked is known to do. Sure, it could be a real gemballa avalanche that someone took to Wicked for extensive re-modification, but how likely does that seem?

OP came to forum with one post about his newly acquire turbo, we simply let him know Wicked is a shady company and hopefully he did all his homework before putting down a large sum of money. his money to spend however he wants, if he digs it than more power to him. i dunno if is a real gemballa or not, really don't care, i wouldn't have this or any gemballa in my garage. porsche is made for simplicity and elegance and not flash but to each there own

 

Can't say Im a fan of the car but congrats on getting your dream car no many people can say the same.
