Tiptronic roll ons

What method do you guys use when doing roll on's from around 70mph do you leave in gear on manual mode or stamp on throttle quickly and let go so it jumps to the lower gear. Auto mode seemed to be quicker but can go into high gear if you take to long.

I Put it in manual and downshift then shift up myself most times. I do just stomp it once in awhile.

When I do roll racing , I used to run like

1st gear roll (40km/h)
2nd gear roll ( 70km/h ) with break boost
2nd gear roll ( 90km/h )
3rd gear roll ( 130 or 140km/h )

In my case I have TCU upgrade till 7400rpm , so these are the best rolling start I do racing !!!

As far as man or auto , keep it the gear in auto and shift down by the steering !!

Shifting will be faster !

Good luck

Thanks for the advice. Will experiment, how about leaving it manual and letting it bounce of the rev limiter into the next gear?
Does TCU make the car any quicker or just better control over box?
