Sticky fuel level sensor

Hey fellas, tank gauge is staying stuck on full, I just put a SRM fuel kit intank- Does the SRM stuff use orig fuel level sensor float or aftermarket. Either way I opened up basket to push the float down and it seemed to stick and go up slow even when i added fuel after. Any part number on this or a fix? is this oem float ?

uses factory float. most likely it wasnt reinstalled in the proper location and its hitting the fuel cell itself on the way down and getting stuck. try to readjust the position in the tank

not sure about the 997 but the 996 has a specific procedure for calibrating a new float unit
